Unexpectedly, the moose test ended for the Toyota Supra. The sports coupe, to put it mildly, was unimpressive.
The best result for the Toyota Supra was 77 km/h, which is the minimum speed at which the moose test is considered passed. Moreover, accomplishing the maneuver at 77 km/h was not achieved on the first attempt. Thus, technically the Toyota sports car passed the test, but just barely.
From a 340-horsepower rear-wheel-drive coupe, a much better result was expected. For comparison: the Nissan Qashqai passed the moose test at 84 km/h, and the Peugeot 508 SW station wagon at 78 km/h.
