by The new Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series has been presented. The track Mercedes supercar was already unveiled earlier, but it still amazed with its specifications.
Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 has boosted power up to 730 hp, and torque reached 800 N·m. With a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, acceleration to a hundred takes 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 325 km/h.
At the moment, no other Mercedes has been this fast – neither the SLS AMG nor the SLR McLaren can compete with it. Although, soon the 1000-horsepower Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar with a Formula 1 engine will go into production.
The new Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series received upgraded suspension and carbon brakes. Additionally, an advanced aerodynamic package with body kits and a spoiler has been developed, providing 400 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.
The interior features leather and carbon finishes.
Bucket seats have appeared, and for an extra charge, a titanium safety cage frame can be chosen.
