The off-road vehicle is planned to be sold not only in Europe, Asia, and Africa but also in North America. The base price of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 will be around 50-55 thousand dollars.
Two design options for the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 2024
The new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 has changed dramatically on the outside. Its design has become more brutal and rugged – with massive bumpers, widened wheel arches, and curved window line.
Two design options for the front end are offered. In the basic version of the Land Cruiser 1958, the headlights are round, while in the more expensive Toyota Land Cruiser they are rectangular. 18-inch wheels are standard.
Like its sibling Lexus GX 2024, the new Prado is built on the modern TNGA-F ladder frame platform from the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The off-road vehicle has become larger, although it is more compact than the Lexus.

Interior and equipment of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250
For the first time, the off-road vehicle has received a virtual dashboard, and for an additional fee, projection on the windshield is available. The basic version is equipped with an 8.0-inch touchscreen, while in more expensive versions, a 12.3-inch screen is available.
The front seats are divided by a high tunnel. The new Prado 2024 will be available in 5 and 7-seater versions.
The basic package of the Toyota Land Cruiser 1958 includes keyless entry, steering wheel and seat heating, wireless charging for smartphones. The top Premium variant adds leather upholstery, power and ventilated seats, sunroof, surround-view cameras, and JBL audio system with 14 speakers.
All Toyota Land Cruiser 250 models are equipped with the Safety Sense 3.0 safety package: adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, headlight control, and traffic sign recognition.
Specifications of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250
The new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 debuted in two versions. Instead of the 4.0-liter V6, a 326-horsepower hybrid setup with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and an electric motor is now offered. This off-road vehicle is capable of towing a 2.7-ton trailer.
On the European market, the 204-horsepower 2.8-liter turbo diesel remains, which will be supplemented with a ‘soft’ hybrid setup in 2025. It can tow a 3.5-ton trailer. In some countries, a 281-horsepower 2.4-liter turbo gasoline engine and a proven 163-horsepower 2.7-liter four-cylinder will also be offered.
All Toyota Land Cruiser 250 models have an 8-speed automatic transmission. Of course, the new Prado 2024 retains full-time all-wheel drive with a low range and differential locks. The clearance of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 is 221 mm, the approach angle is 30°, and the departure angle is 22°.
The features include Downhill Assist Control, Crawl Control, and various off-road modes (Multi-Terrain Select). Enhanced sills and additional underbody protection are offered as an option.
The new Toyota Land Cruiser 250 has received electric power steering for the first time. It features an updated independent front suspension and a new ‘multi-link’ dependent rear suspension. The brakes have been increased to 432 mm in diameter.
