by The company Turtle Wax has brought to Ukraine a new line of Hybrid Solutions Ceramic with ceramic particles, which was introduced in the USA at the end of 2020. So far, only five products of the new line are available in our region, so to speak, to test the demand.
The Hybrid Solutions “Ceramic Turtle” line itself consists of 22 products, including car shampoos, quick polishes, polish pastes, bodywork protection wax, and even interior polish cleaners.
What is Hybrid Solutions from Turtle Wax? It’s a line of products containing ceramic particles for body protection. Previously, wax, either natural or synthetic particles, was most often used for body protection. The modern trend, however, is so-called sealants, ceramic particles. Generally, with them, polishes, car shampoos, cleaners provide better protection, but may offer less shine than wax. Ceramic compositions are more durable than wax-based ones. However, they also provide less shine and hydrophobicity.
New Products Introduced in Ukraine
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wash & Wax – a car shampoo with ceramic particles in a large (1.42 L) package. Provides an instant hydrophobic effect and some shine. Very economical. A single capful (about 50 ml) is enough for a car wash, so a nearly one-and-a-half-liter shampoo can last for more than a year of use. Best suited for hand washing cars but can also be used with a foam generator.
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3 in 1 Detailer – a ceramic detailer for quick washing and body protection without water. It can be used between car washes to maintain shine and hydrophobicity. It is a kind of essence similar to “waterless wash” so you don’t have to visit a car wash every time. It can be applied to a car protected by a ceramic coating or wax.
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Wet Wax – a liquid wax for shine and a hydrophobic effect. Can be used after every car wash. Should be applied to a dry body. It is recommended to use it once every 2-3 weeks.
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating – an analog of “SONAX lacquer protection,” which can be applied quickly and easily to a car. In 5-10 minutes, you get body protection for several months and reduce the intervals between washes. It provides minimal hydrophobicity and shine, with maximum body protection from external irritants and dust. Contains the maximum amount of ceramics possible in a liquid polish. For better effect, you can enhance it with a liquid ceramic wax.
Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish & Wax – a protective polish with wax and ceramic particles. Can be used as a finish protective polish. It is considered the most effective polish in the Hybrid Solutions line, which was imported to Ukraine this year. Unsurprisingly, it is the best-selling item in the new line (after the 1.42 L shampoo).
