The published images show significant changes both in the model’s exterior and interior design. The new model is executed in the brand’s current styling and features a number of solutions already used on other modern Audi models.

Externally, the crossover has become similar to the new Audi Q5. The car features smoother body lines and a wider grille.

The front headlights now have a two-tier design, while the rear taillights are connected by an LED strip across the full width of the body. The overall design has become more streamlined compared to the current generation of the model.

The new Audi Q7 is expected to grow slightly in size. At the same time, a significant increase in dimensions is not predicted, as an even larger flagship crossover, the Audi Q9, will soon appear in the brand’s model lineup.

The interior features a new four-spoke steering wheel and a front panel with three displays. One of the screens is intended for the front passenger.

Between the front seats sits a high center console. As before, buyers will be offered six-seat and seven-seat versions of the crossover.

The third-generation Audi Q7 will be based on the modern PPC platform, which is already used by the Audi Q5 and Audi A6 models.

According to preliminary information, the engine lineup will include 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engines, as well as a three-liter turbodiesel. All powertrains will feature a mild hybrid system. A plug-in hybrid modification will also be retained in the lineup.

For all versions of the Audi Q7, an eight-speed automatic transmission and the proprietary Quattro all-wheel drive system are provided.
