Direct Connection division introduced a set of components for Ram 1500 Rumble Bee pickups for the 2027 model year. For the Rumble Bee SRT version, they prepared a supercharger kit that is expected to increase the output of the 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 from 777 to more than 900 hp. Carscoops writes about this.
Ram Rumble Bee SRT: supercharger package for V8 Hellcat
The final power of the modified Rumble Bee SRT has not yet been announced, but the target figure exceeds 900 hp. The production pickup with the Hellcat engine accelerates to 96 km/h in 3.4 seconds and covers a quarter mile in 11.6 seconds.
The supercharger is covered by a limited powertrain warranty for five years or up to 96,561 km. The condition applies if the equipment is installed by a certified Mopar specialist with ASE certification.
Direct Connection packages for Ram Rumble Bee: power, suspension and exhaust
The 3.0-liter twin-screw supercharger for the Rumble Bee with a 5.7-liter V8 increases power from 395 to more than 600 hp. It costs $10,995 before installation. For the Rumble Bee 392 with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8, an increase from 470 to more than 700 hp is provided.
Direct Connection also offers:
- Magnaflow stainless steel sport exhaust system, priced from $1,599 to $2,399 depending on the engine;
- Ridetech lowering suspension kit for $4,590;
- graphic packages for the hood and body sides.
The suspension reduces ground clearance by 25 mm at the front and 76 mm at the rear. It features shock absorbers with 24-position damping adjustment and a three-year warranty or up to 57,936 km.
Components for the base Rumble Bee are expected to arrive along with the pickup in the fourth quarter. Kits for the 392 and SRT versions are expected in the first half of 2027.
