In the Dnipropetrovsk region, on a newly constructed section of the H-31 Dnipro-Reshetylivka highway, a car debut took place – Formula-3 class ‘Estonia’ race cars drove along a 15 km segment. This was reported by CFTS referencing ‘Ukravtodor’.

Five racing cars participated in the race, reaching speeds of 250 km/h. They completed three laps on the new track. Their task was to test the quality of the road surface.
“The test drive’s conclusion is that the quality of the surface is impeccable,” stated Ukravtodor.

The H-31 road runs through the Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the road is 58 km long and is built with asphalt concrete; in the Poltava region, it is 80 km long, using cement concrete.

Currently, road equipment is working on the new bridge over the Dnipro-Donbas canal. The final section of the highway, 29.5 km long, is being laid there.
Upon completion of these works, as stated by the road agency, “Ukraine will get the first Ukrainian highway,” built during the years of independence. By parameters, it will be a first-category road with 4 lanes.
