At the Los Angeles Auto Show, the updated Toyota Camry 2020 will be presented. The popular Toyota sedan received an all-wheel-drive version for the first time since 1991.
The all-wheel drive system was shared by the Toyota RAV4 crossover. If necessary, it can transmit up to 100% of the torque to the rear axle. This sedan has become 75 kg heavier.
So far, the all-wheel-drive Toyota Camry 2020 is offered only with a 2.5-liter 205-horsepower engine. All-wheel drive will also be available for the larger Avalon sedan.
Toyota hopes that the Camry 4X4 will sell well in regions with snowy winters. By the way, in Japan, the all-wheel-drive Camry is already on sale, only there it is entirely different – hybrid and with an electric motor on the rear axle.
