For its 110th anniversary, Bugatti will release not only the fabulously expensive hypercar La Voiture Noir for almost $19 million but also its cheapest model. And it will be an electric car. 
The Bugatti electric car will cost 30,000 euros – like a new Nissan Leaf. However, there’s a catch – it’s the Bugatti Baby II children’s car. Strangely enough, this is not the first such car: back in 1926, Bugatti created such a toy for his son.
The modern Bugatti Baby, like its predecessor, replicates the Bugatti Type 35 sports car. It even has working instruments and lighting, and the interior is trimmed with leather. 
The electric motor can operate in two modes. For the youngest drivers, the power is 1 kW (1.36 hp) and the speed is 20 km/h. However, using a key (like in the Bugatti Chiron) to activate the “speed” mode, the power increases to 4 kW (5.44 hp) and the top speed reaches 50 km/h.
The Bugatti electric car is equipped with a lithium-ion battery and even brake regeneration. Only 500 Bugatti Baby IIs will be produced.
