MG to Present New Electric Cars at Goodwood Festival
At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which will take place on July 10, the MG brand plans to show two new electric cars for the European market. One of them is likely to be the IM Motors IM6, which is already on sale in China. The company will also present a special version of the Cyberster Black roadster and the Cyber X concept.
The IM6 has a coupe-crossover body type with a length of 4904 mm. The most powerful version of this electric car develops 767 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.48 seconds. MG promises that one of the new products will demonstrate its dynamics on the legendary Goodwood hill climb.
Additional Exhibits from MG
In addition to the new products, festival visitors will be able to see the updated MG EX4 EV with a new livery inspired by the 1980s Metro 6R4 rally car. The MG4 XPower and the new generation of the HS crossover will also be presented at the company’s stand.
In recent years, MG has significantly expanded its presence in the global market, particularly in Europe, where the brand sold 240 thousand cars last year. The presentation of new models should help the company increase this figure. The Cyber X concept is of particular interest, as it could become the basis for a new compact off-roader in the style of the Land Cruiser.
