Hyundai Ioniq 6 N: A New Electric Car for Speed Enthusiasts
Hyundai continues to develop its lineup of sports electric vehicles, and the Ioniq 6 N is set to become a new benchmark in this segment. The official debut is scheduled for July 10th at the renowned Goodwood Festival of Speed event.
The development of the Ioniq 6 N took several years, starting with the RN22e concept in 2022. The first teaser appeared in April 2025, and now Hyundai is revealing more details about the car’s dynamics and technologies.
Design and Technical Features
Externally, the Ioniq 6 N features a more aggressive look: split headlights, sporty bumpers, and a large rear spoiler. Wide fenders and alloy wheels emphasize its sporty character.
Hyundai engineers have significantly updated the suspension, reducing the roll center and adding electronically controlled dampers. The simulated gear-shifting system and engine sound have also been improved to make drivers feel like they are in a conventional sports car.
Joon Park, Vice President of Hyundai, noted: “The Ioniq 6 N is designed for the most exciting driving experience among electric vehicles.”
The model is expected to feature a dual electric powertrain with up to 641 hp in N Grin Boost mode. This will allow it to compete with the Tesla Model 3 Performance.
Full technical specifications will be revealed after the official presentation. Hyundai continues to prove that electric vehicles can be just as thrilling as internal combustion engine cars, especially when it comes to dynamics and handling.
