The new Genesis flagship resembles a huge minivan

Genesis GV90: new electric crossover in final development stage

The Genesis company is preparing to release the new electric crossover GV90, which is approaching serial production. The prototype has already been spotted on the roads with significantly reduced camouflage, allowing the main design features to be seen. The car, inspired by the Neolun concept, has restrained lines and a shape reminiscent of a minivan.

The front of the GV90 is adorned with a large lower grille, divided into two sections with different patterns. The characteristic “two-line” LED headlights are complemented by a V-shaped accent. The side view resembles a modern minivan but with premium design elements: a long sloping roof, massive wheels, and stylish door handles.

Technical features and expectations

The rear of the crossover is executed in a minimalist style with integrated LED taillights and a smooth bumper. The interior is still hidden under camouflage, but it is expected to feature a widescreen multimedia system and luxurious finishes. Preliminary images also revealed the presence of a display in the second row of seats.

Official technical specifications have not yet been disclosed, but the GV90 will likely be built on the new eM platform. The model may offer several powertrain options, including powerful all-wheel-drive versions with a range of over 500 km.

Early estimates suggest that the GV90 could be more technologically advanced than its relatives from Kia and Hyundai. Its presentation is expected no earlier than 2026, though exact timing remains unknown. This model is set to confirm Genesis’ ambitions in the premium electric vehicle segment.
