by The new Chevrolet Corvette 2020 has so far been presented only as a Targa coupe with a removable roof. However, very soon the version lineup will expand and a Corvette convertible will appear this fall. 
For now, the Chevrolet Corvette C8 with a soft roof has been unveiled in an official video. In the short clip, it appeared alongside the racing Corvette C8.R. The car differs from the coupe with fairings behind the seats and an opaque engine hood cover.
Most likely, the new Chevrolet Corvette Convertible will be offered with the same standard 6.2-liter V8 engine with 490 hp and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. It will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and reach speeds over 300 km/h. 
It is expected that the Chevrolet Corvette convertible will be slightly more expensive than the coupe, but its starting price will still be around 60-65 thousand dollars.
