The first official photos of the Kia Sorento 2020 have been presented. The seven-seater crossover Kia of the fourth generation will be presented in two weeks at the Geneva Motor Show.
The new Kia Sorento was previously revealed in spy photos, so its design was not a surprise. The car looks bolder – with a wide radiator grille and elongated LED headlights. The tilt of the rear roof pillars has also been increased, and four thin lights have been installed.
The interior layout is familiar from the new Kia Optima 2020. The crossover now features a virtual dashboard and a large 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Instead of a gear lever, there is a rotary dial.
The list of options for the seven-seater crossover will include a parking autopilot, 360-degree view cameras, and a semi-autonomous driving system.
It is expected that the Kia Sorento 2020 will retain the familiar 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with 240 hp and a 2.2-liter 200 hp turbo diesel. A hybrid version will be available later. All versions will have an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the drive will be front or all-wheel.
