by Copies of the G-Wagon can be made not only in China. Another clone of the iconic SUV has been launched into production in Myanmar. 
At first sight, the Inlay (as the vehicle is called) closely resembles the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, although it doesn’t share any parts with the original. As seen in the photos, the military three-door version of the G-Class was used as the basis. 
In fact, the Myanmar military will be the primary buyer of the Inlay, although the vehicle will also be available for public purchase at a price below $20,000.
Civilian versions will be painted in white, red, and yellow colors – actually, this will be the only difference from the military variant. 
Annually, about a thousand SUVs are planned to be assembled. The specifications and price of the G-Wagon from Myanmar have not yet been announced, but it is known that engines, transmissions, and axles are purchased in China from the BAIC corporation, which also manufactures G-Class clones.
