Lexus is preparing to expand its crossover lineup. In 2020, a new flagship model will appear, positioned higher than the Lexus RX and even more expensive than the Lexus LX570 SUV.
The new Lexus crossover will be styled similarly to the Lexus LF-1 Limitless concept car. That is, we can expect the novelty to have a long hood, a sloping roof, and the signature spindle-shaped grille.
Most likely, the five-seat Lexus crossover will be built on the GA-L modular platform.
The base version will receive a 425 hp hybrid system, consisting of a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 and a pair of electric motors.

The top variant promises to be much more interesting. It will be equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 from the Lexus LC coupe, which will be supplemented with turbocharging. The power will reach 660-670 hp, which is even more than the Lamborghini Urus. However, the new Lexus will definitely be cheaper than its Italian competitor.
It is known that the 4.0-liter version will cost approximately $150,000, while the Lamborghini Urus can be purchased for $200,000.
