New EPS package from Bugatti Tourbillon surpasses all advantages of the exhaust system

Bugatti introduced the new Équipe Pur Sang package for the Tourbillon model. It includes eight exhaust pipes, a unique splitter, a special diffuser, and optimized wheels. The interior is equipped with sport seats trimmed with carbon fiber and Alcantara upholstery. Bugatti clients have begun configuring their Tourbillons, so the company introduced the . In French, this means “purebred team,” and the package is considered a visual embodiment of the company’s speed and motorsport history.

This is clear from the first glance, as the EPS package adds a unique front splitter and special rear wing with small endplates that help improve aerodynamic efficiency. However, the most notable change is the eight-barrel exhaust system, which looks like a row of cannons protruding from a ship. The round tips replace the four trapezoids on the standard model. Completing the feature list are special 20- and 21-inch wheels that help reduce turbulence and also increase airflow to the rear radiator by 8%. The package also adds a revised diffuser, which further enhances aerodynamic efficiency as well as provides additional downforce.

The changes continue inside as there is Alcantara upholstery, as well as sport seats, providing improved lateral support during high-g-force cornering. The latter also features “Équipe Pur Sang” embroidery on the headrests. Buyers will also find lacquered black trim inserts, as well as a mid-carbon fiber interior package. As in the standard model, the Tourbillon EPS has, three electric motors, and a 25 kWh battery pack. This provides the vehicle with a combined power output of 1,775 hp (1,324 kW / 1,800 PS) and an all-electric range of over 37 miles (60 km).

While many people simply buy a car from stock, – it is a bespoke machine that reflects each owner. Therefore, clients travel to Château Saint Jean in Molsheim or their nearest Bugatti dealer to begin the commissioning process. There they can choose from 23 new exterior colors, 20 new leather options, 10 new Alcantara options, and seven new carpets. Even the instrument panel has several configurations, as it is made by Swiss watchmakers. This is entirely expected when production is limited to 250 units, and prices start from €3.8 ($4.1 / £3.2) million.
