New Porsche 911 Turbo S 2026 revealed without camouflage, possibly equipped with nearly 700 hybrid horses

Spies have captured images of the updated Porsche 911 Turbo S at the Nürburgring. The updated coupe features new bumpers, a redesigned exhaust system, and restyled intakes. We can expect a hybrid powertrain with an electric motor integrated into the transmission. Last fall, Porsche confirmed that the updated 911 Turbo S lineup will enter production in the second half of 2025. They also revealed that it will receive a hybrid powertrain similar to the GTS.

Fast forwarding to the present, spies have taken photos of the uncamouflaged prototype undergoing testing at the Nürburgring. Concealed fake daytime running lights, the updated coupe features an evolutionary front bumper with more expressive intakes that have vertical ribs. They are complemented by new headlights and some other minor changes. Apart from the obvious changes, the car is likely to be equipped with new wheels and an updated interior. The latter will likely feature a curved 12.6-inch digital instrument panel, a 10.9-inch infotainment system, and revised switches.

Porsche keeps information secret, but the current 911 Turbo has a 3.7-liter twin-turbo engine that develops 572 hp (427 kW / 580 PS) and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque. The Turbo S increases these figures to 640 hp (477 kW / 649 PS) and 590 lb-ft (799 Nm). When the GTS was introduced, Porsche noted that it was 59 hp (44 kW / 60 PS) more than its predecessor. If the Turbo lineup receives a similar boost, one can expect an output of almost 700 hp (522 kW / 710 PS).
