New Ford SUV Abandons Classic Design and Prepares for Global Market

Updated Ford Territory for the Brazilian Market

The Territory name has been used by Ford before for another model, but it is now assigned to the crossover produced in China. The updated version received a number of design changes, although the overall dimensions remained the same.

Design and Equipment Changes

The front of the crossover now features a new radiator grille with chrome elements, as well as updated bumpers. The interior retains the digital panel with two 12.3-inch screens, but new seat upholstery options have appeared.

Territory sales in Brazil quadrupled last year, reaching over 5000 units.

Technical specifications remain unchanged: a 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbo engine with 166 hp is paired with a 7-speed gearbox. A hybrid version is not yet planned.

The updated Territory has already debuted at the auto show in São Paulo and will soon appear in dealer showrooms. The model is also expected to be supplied to other countries, including Argentina, Mexico, and Southeast Asian countries. Demand for this crossover continues to grow, which may prompt Ford to further expand the lineup.
