Celebratory Launch of the New Rivian Space in Miami
Rivian has opened a new space in Mary Brickell Village in Miami, marking the company’s second location in this area. The new facility spans approximately 4,000 square feet.
Unique R1S Design to Commemorate the Opening
To make the event special, the company unveiled a specially decorated R1S SUV that pays tribute to Miami’s vibrant design heritage and its influence on pop culture. The model drew inspiration from the 1980s style and uses an attractive color palette characteristic of that era.
Exterior Details
The electric vehicle features a white body complemented by black accents, as well as blue and turquoise stripes on the sides. These are enhanced by pink tow hooks and a turquoise accent on the front bumper. Colorful elements are also present on the wheel rims, which combine black, pink, white, and turquoise hues.
Interior and Features
Rivian shared little about the interior, but it is visible that it is trimmed in Ocean Coast fabric with pink accents on the headrests. Also present are special floor mats with a blue-and-white pattern and a turquoise border.

Technical Specifications
This unique model is based on the R1S Tri-Motor, equipped with three electric motors with a combined power of 850 hp, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 2.9 seconds and travel up to 371 miles on a single charge.
The company noted that the car embodies the brand’s spirit – celebrating creativity and nostalgia while remaining modern and unique to Rivian.
This project demonstrates how automakers can combine modern technology with retro aesthetics to create products that resonate with the cultural context. The use of bright colors and references to the 1980s not only highlights historical connections but also promotes emotional audience engagement, which is especially important for electric vehicles that are often perceived as technocratic. This approach could become a trend for other brands seeking to stand out in a competitive market.
