Updated Xpeng P7: Power, Design, and Technology
Chinese manufacturer Xpeng is preparing an updated version of its P7 electric car, which will be released in 2025. Key features include:
The new P7 has received an updated design inspired by Lamborghini, as well as improved technical specifications. Unfortunately, the car will only be available in the Chinese market. According to China’s Ministry of Industry, the base version will have a rear electric motor with 363 hp paired with an LFP battery.
Engines and Specifications
For those who value longer range, a long-distance version with an NMC battery is offered. The most powerful modification will feature two motors: 363 hp at the rear and 223 hp at the front, totaling 586 hp. This version also comes with more powerful brakes and Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires.
The P7’s dimensions ensure a spacious interior: length – 5017 mm, width – 1970 mm, height – 1427 mm. The wheelbase is 3008 mm, and the weight is 2090 kg. Among the design features are carbon elements, such as mirrors and decorative trim.
The official presentation of the updated P7 will take place at the Guangzhou Auto Show. For now, the manufacturer does not plan to supply this model to markets outside China. However, this may change in the future, given Xpeng’s global ambitions.
