The new generation of the iconic Lamborghini sports car hit public roads for the first time after its presentation. This means that production cars will soon be prepared for release and delivery to customers.
Recall, Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 debuted in August at Pebble Beach. It was made in the likeness of its predecessor but refreshed in a modern style. The new generation Countach model (correctly pronounced Koon-tah) will be released in a limited edition of 112 units. Why exactly that number? It’s simple – the number was chosen because of the factory designation of the first Countach coupe project (LP 112).
Countach LPI 800–4 is equipped with a naturally aspirated (!) 6.5-liter V12 engine with an output of 780 hp, complemented by an electric motor (+34 hp and instant throttle response). In total, that’s 814 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 km/h – 2.8 seconds. Top speed – 355 km/h.
Price? You can buy the LPI 800-4 for 2 million euros. But there’s a catch – all 112 units are already sold out through pre-orders.
