Tests of a new army SUV took place at a training ground near Kyiv. This was reported on the page of the National Guard of Ukraine on Facebook.
A lightweight four-seater buggy for the Armed Forces and the National Guard was created by volunteers from southern Ukraine. The vehicle, weighing 1600 kg, is equipped with a 2.5-liter 99-horsepower turbodiesel and is capable of accelerating up to 145 km/h on the highway and 110 km/h off-road. The SUV’s payload capacity is one ton.
It is designed for transporting personnel and evacuating the wounded. Among the advantages of the vehicle are its low silhouette and the ability to fire in a 360-degree arc. The vehicle’s off-road capability is excellent. At the training ground, it was compared with the Humvee (army Hummer), and the Ukrainian SUV turned out to be no worse.
