by Pope Francis received a new vehicle. For the first time, the Popemobile became a Nissan, specifically a Nissan NP300 pickup truck, which is manufactured in South Africa. 
The Pope’s vehicle was specially created for the pontiff’s visit to Mauritius. The Nissan pickup was equipped with a platform with a throne in the back and a glass cover. 
Of course, the car is painted in the traditional white color.
It also has special license plates SCV1 (Status Civitatis Vaticanae – “Vatican City State”).

Interestingly, such Nissan NP300 trucks are present in the Ukrainian army. Since 2014, they have also been used in the ATO zone.
