Beware, Speed Enthusiasts: This Nearly Unused Z06 Has Lost Significant Value

If I had over $140 thousand to spend on a sports car, it would be hard to imagine anything better than a new Corvette Z06. Although it is not cheap, compared to its European counterparts, it is a real find. Recently, one well-equipped specimen was sold for $143 thousand – $17 thousand less than the original price. For those who were counting on quickly reselling the Z06 at a profit, this is bad news, but for buyers, it is a great opportunity.

In the US, the base version of the Z06 costs just over $112 thousand, but this 3LZ convertible was initially priced at $130,850, plus $28,035 for additional options. In our opinion, the car looks great, although there will be those who do not like this particular execution.

The first thing that catches the eye is the color. Cacti Green is one of the less popular shades for the 2024 Corvette. Among green colors, it is quite restrained and perhaps not as bright as such a car deserves. The options here include the Z06 Ultimate package with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Z07 suspension, and a full carbon fiber aerodynamic kit.

Other important options include the front lift system, Stealth interior package, black aluminum exhaust tips, and Carbon Flash-colored mirrors.

The interior features Artemis Nappa leather with numerous carbon fiber inserts and a 14-speaker Bose audio system. The total cost of the car with all options was $160,380, and the mileage at the time of sale was only 628 miles (1010 km).

Although the C8 Corvette Z06 is an impressive car, its production is not limited, so it is unlikely to become a collector’s item in the future. If the Z06 is currently beyond your budget, it is worth waiting – over time, prices will inevitably fall below the $100 thousand mark.
