In the Iraqi city of Erbil, the famous Ferrari F40 was found. Previously, this car was in Saddam Hussein’s garage and was long considered lost, reports Motor1.
The Ferrari supercar was used by Saddam’s son Uday, but it was driven only 3700 km. After his death, the car disappeared for a long time and has now resurfaced in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The Ferrari F40 is stored in the garage of a local tycoon.
The location of the garage is kept in strict secrecy, and it is guarded by gunmen. The owner does not disclose how he managed to find the car.
The car is covered with a layer of sand, and some parts were removed about 20 years ago during repairs in Turkey. Of course, the coupe requires restoration, but overall it has been preserved not too badly.
The current owner is ready to sell the Ferrari F40 and is asking for 1.15 million dollars.
Interestingly, he only accepts cash.
