This 1967 Volga GAZ-21 looks very unusual. The Soviet car has been turned into a real limousine, reports Carakoom.
The extended GAZ-21 was built in Dagestan. A 90 cm insert appeared between the doors, and it was integrated into the body quite harmoniously. However, to increase rigidity, massive thresholds had to be welded on.
The interior is now seven-seater, with a partition separating the driver from the rear passengers. The owner tried to preserve authenticity, thus did not install a TV or minibar. Only a sunroof appeared.
The Volga tuning also includes the installation of a 2.9-liter 90-horsepower engine from Gazelle. Since the Volga limousine became heavier, the power increase is not superfluous.
