A true rarity was found in one of the garage cooperatives – a 1976 Lada 2106, from the very first series. This is the oldest surviving Lada 2106 – its body number is 0000079.

This means that before us is the 79th Lada 2106 ever produced, indeed a rarity. The car was discovered by blogger Roma Urraco, who specializes in such time capsules.

For the last 20 years, the car has been stationary in a garage and covered with a layer of dust. The Lada 2106 has a mileage of only 30,000 km. The car is rusted and needs restoration, although it is unlikely to be difficult.

It turned out that all this time the car had one owner. It was bought by a well-known scientist from Kyiv who moved to the city of Korolyov. The original vehicle passport has been preserved. More details about the Lada 2106 can be found in the video review.
