A rare 2009 Ferrari 599XX Evo will go under the hammer at the RM Sotheby’s auction house in July 2026. The car is expected to fetch between $2.3 million and $2.9 million, equivalent to approximately 96-120 million UAH. The vehicle is one of only 45 examples of the 599XX model built by Ferrari exclusively for use on racetracks. RM Sotheby’s reports.
This specific car, with chassis number 169968, is among the very first produced examples. According to the auction house, it was approximately the fourth of the 45 Ferrari 599XX units built. In 2012, the car was upgraded to the Evoluzione specification, which is considered the most desirable version of the model.
Ferrari 599XX Evo received an upgrade to the Evoluzione version
The base Ferrari 599XX was created on the foundation of the 599 GTB Fiorano. The car is equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine from the F140C series. After the update to the Evoluzione package, its power increased to 750 hp, and peak torque reached 700 Nm.
Among the technical upgrades of the Evo version, the manufacturer included a modified transmission with a shorter gear ratio, a new rear wing with a drag reduction system, a lighter exhaust system, upgraded suspension, and special Pirelli racing tires.
The racing Ferrari 599XX became one of the rarest track cars of the brand
The model was never certified for use on public roads. Owners of such cars could participate in Ferrari’s special XX Programme and attend closed track events around the world.
The presented example has had only two private owners since its release and has been serviced throughout by the Ferrari XX Programme division. In 2024, the car received a current technical report. According to the document, the engine has used only 9% of its estimated service life, and the gearbox about 20%.
The car is painted in the signature Rosso Fuoco color and last took to the track during an XX Programme event at the Nürburgring in September 2024. The auction will take place on July 4, 2026, as part of the Tegernsee Auction.
