Official photos of the Toyota Highlander 2020 have been presented. The large third-generation Toyota crossover will debut tomorrow at the New York Auto Show.
Toyota Highlander 2020 Design
The new Toyota Highlander has grown by 60 mm and is built on the modern TNGA-K platform, like the Camry and RAV4. The design is executed in the spirit of the Toyota RAV4 with a wide grille and slanted LED headlights. The rear fenders are widened, but the car silhouette remains familiar.
Toyota Highlander 2020 Interior and Equipment
The interior features improved materials and more spaciousness. The more expensive versions are equipped with a large 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen. As before, 7 or 8-seat versions are available, and the second-row seats feature horizontal adjustment. Even with all the seats in place, there is still a 456-liter trunk, which can be increased to 2075 liters.
The base Toyota Highlander 2020 already includes keyless entry, three-zone climate control, Wi-Fi, navigation, driver’s seat power adjustment, automatic braking, and sign recognition systems.
The top Platinum version features a head-up display, seat ventilation, and a 1200-watt JBL audio system.
Toyota Highlander 2020 Specifications
The Toyota crossover is equipped with a 3.5-liter gasoline V6 with 295 hp or a new 240-hp hybrid system. In the latter case, the average fuel consumption is 6.9 l/100 km. All-wheel drive is complemented by torque vectoring, and the Multi-Terrain Select system is also provided, with modes for sand, mud, and rocks.
