The first photos of the Volkswagen Teramont X have been presented. Volkswagen’s first production coupe crossover will be showcased at the Shanghai Auto Show.
The new Volkswagen Teramont X is a coupe-like version of the VW Atlas (known in China as the Teramont). The vehicle has been shortened to 4915 mm, but the wheelbase remains the same at 2980 mm. Naturally, it has become a five-seater.
The main external difference of the Volkswagen Teramont X is the slanted rear roof pillars. Additionally, the crossover’s grille has been slightly modified.
Two turbo engines are offered – a two-liter four-cylinder with 186 hp and a 2.5-liter 300 hp V6. In any case, a 7-speed dual-clutch DSG robot is installed, and the drive can be front or all-wheel. Outside of China, the model will be sold as the Atlas X.
