At the Shanghai Auto Show, the new Aston Martin RapidE was presented. Aston Martin’s first electric car will be released in a limited series of 155 cars, and one of the vehicles will even appear in the new James Bond film.
On the rear axle of the Aston Martin RapidE, two electric motors are installed, developing 600 hp and 950 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes less than 4 seconds, with a top speed limited to 250 km/h.
The 65 kWh battery pack provides a range of over 320 km according to the WLTP cycle.
The Aston Martin electric car can be charged using a fast-charging device in just 40 minutes.
The new Aston Martin RapidE can be distinguished from the standard gasoline model by its modified grille, body kit, and special 21-inch wheels. The interior features a virtual instrument panel.
