Ram 1500 TRX Returns with a Powerful V8

Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa has confirmed that the Ram 1500 TRX will reappear on the market. Although this news was expected, it is now officially known that the model will return. Filosa noted that the company is focused on expanding its business in North America through new products and increasing sales.

Versions with a V8 engine, such as the Ram 1500 TRX, will bring us additional sales volumes

Previous reports indicate that production of the updated model could begin as early as January 2026. It is likely to receive a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with a power output of at least 702 hp and a torque of 880 Nm. To outpace competitors, Dodge may have to increase the power beyond 720 hp.

Return of Legendary Engines

Filosa also hinted that other engines besides the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 could return to the market. He noted that the Trump administration’s policies have given the company more freedom in choosing between electric vehicles and ICE vehicles, which will allow it to better meet customer demand.

Furthermore, the new Charger Sixpack is expected to be an important step in strengthening the connection with Dodge brand fans. Filosa promised that the company is preparing many more interesting novelties in the future.

The return of powerful engines and models like the Ram TRX indicates that Stellantis continues to bet on traditional technologies while adapting to changes in market conditions. This could satisfy both fans of classic cars and those who expect new powerful models.
