Europe is not the only region that faced serious flooding this summer (remember the video of the flooded Audi dealership in Germany?). China also “got hit”: in particular, not only millions of people but also hundreds of thousands of cars were affected by the catastrophes.

The photo shows about 100,000 cars (according to local journalists’ estimates) turned into “drowners.” These are cars of various brands, from little-known Chinese ones to premium Europeans like Mercedes-Benz and Volvo. The spoiled equipment is stored in a huge parking lot, which, however, is constantly replenished with new specimens – car carriers arrive one after another, unloading passenger cars.

As seen in the images, cars submerged in water and mud are being “dried out” – many have open windows, sunroofs, and trunks. However, they are unlikely to return to their previous owners: according to Chinese media, the “drowners” will be auctioned off.

It is possible that some of the submerged cars in China will soon appear in Ukraine. Naturally, at bargain prices. So, if you plan to buy a car in the near future, be especially attentive to models imported from China.
