G-Class update worth $104,000 in F1 style has everything except the SUV itself

The tuning studio Larte Design has introduced a new color program for its Mercedes-AMG G 63 upgrade package. Now clients can order carbon fiber parts painted in any color, as well as exclusive two-tone schemes.

New color palette for the G-Class

While elite models from Bugatti, Rolls-Royce, and Mercedes-Maybach look luxurious with classic two-tone paint jobs, these images show that not all cars look equally good with such bright colors.

The presented images are detailed renders showcasing Larte Design’s new program for the Mercedes-AMG G 63. Possibly inspired by Mansory’s wild projects, this version features a two-tone turquoise-black scheme and colored carbon fiber parts.

The tuners claim they can develop any color upon client request. This particular example is inspired by the livery of the Mercedes-AMG Formula 1 team. Black is used on the hood, rear wings, and trunk door, while the rest of the body has a turquoise hue, including the lower part of the front bumper, front fenders, and sections of the doors.

Carbon fiber elements and the Winner widebody kit

The painted turquoise parts are complemented by elements made of exposed carbon fiber, also in the same color. This includes the spare tire cover, roof spoiler, front splitter, and rear diffuser. The most impressive part is undoubtedly the hood, which features standard black carbon fiber that smoothly transitions into turquoise.

The Mercedes has also received the Winner widebody kit from Larte. This means the front and rear bumpers, wheel arches, and hood have become significantly more aggressive than those of the standard G-Class. A set of custom wheels with black and turquoise elements has also been installed.

Cost of customization

Purchasing such a heavily modified G 63 does not come cheap. The simplest Larte kit with 23-inch wheels costs €44,276 ($51,500) and can be configured in a single color. Those who want an individual color for the entire kit will pay at least €74,276 ($86,200). Additional interior upholstery to match will raise the price to €89,276 ($103,600). It is important to note that these figures do not include the cost of the G 63 itself, which can be provided by the client or purchased through Larte.

Thus, the new Larte Design program offers virtually limitless possibilities for personalization, albeit at a corresponding price. This allows G-Class owners to stand out by creating a unique vehicle that reflects their individual style, even if the final result may prove to be quite extravagant. It is worth noting that such decisions often provoke mixed reactions, as not every two-tone design looks harmonious on a massive SUV like the G-Class.
