At the Engine Expo 2019 in Stuttgart, the winners of the annual International Engine + Powertrain of the Year competition were announced. The expert jury named the best engines of 2019.
This year not only the engines themselves were evaluated, but the power units as a whole. That is, ICE competed together with gearboxes, and electric motors with batteries. The winner was once again the 3.9-liter V8 twin-turbo Ferrari, which is used in sports cars 488 and F8 Tributo.
