by The patrol police of Kyiv published a video of a serious accident that occurred on Maidan Nezalezhnosti. Two pedestrians died in the crash, and three more people were injured. 
The video shows a Land Rover Discovery flying onto the pedestrian area of Maidan near the Independence Monument. The out-of-control SUV rolled down the steps, drove into a crowd of people, and then crashed into four cars. According to preliminary data, the Land Rover driver is sober (the Dräger showed 0), although it was previously reported that he might be under the influence.
Currently, traffic on Khreshchatyk is blocked, and the police are working at the accident scene.
