New Toyota GRMN Corolla model
Images and videos have emerged showcasing the new Toyota GRMN Corolla model, which is expected to debut later this year. The car features a carbon hood with ventilation holes, as well as a spoiler made of the same material. Additionally, new ventilation holes above and behind the front fenders are noticeable.
The wheel rims have a lightweight design with a bronze coating, and the brake calipers are finished in a bright red color. The rear of the car retains familiar features but has acquired an aggressive diffuser and a carbon spoiler. The exhaust system has three pipes.
Interior and technical features
The car’s interior has received sporty-style updates: lightweight sports seats made of leather and Alcantara, a microfiber steering wheel, and a six-speed manual transmission with red accents. A “GRMN” logo is also present behind the drive mode selector.
Technical specifications have not yet been officially confirmed, but the GRMN Corolla is expected to be a more powerful and lighter version of the standard model. The base 2025 version is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine producing 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The car is offered with a manual or automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and limited-slip differentials.
Performance and expectations
Thanks to these characteristics, the standard GR Corolla accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 143 mph. The new GRMN version is likely to show even better results, especially due to reduced weight and improved aerodynamics.
This model continues Toyota’s trend of creating high-performance versions of regular cars that combine everyday practicality with racing characteristics. Its appearance on the market could significantly increase competition among track-oriented hatchbacks.
