Since there is no RS5, ABT created its analog

Updated Audi S5 Avant by ABT Sportsline

The new Audi A5 has already been introduced with an updated design and modern technologies. While waiting for the more powerful RS5, the S5 remains the top model in the lineup, making it an ideal base for tuning by ABT Sportsline. The first upgrade package for the S5 includes aerodynamic improvements, chassis tuning, and performance enhancements, bringing it closer to the level of RS models.

The most significant change is the updated engine. ABT engineers modified the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, which now produces 435 hp and 600 Nm of torque. This is 72 hp and 50 Nm more than the standard version. Such a power increase was made possible thanks to the ABT Power S module.

The power of the S5 Avant is only 9 hp less than the previous RS4 Avant, while the torque is identical.

In addition to the engine, ABT installed lowering springs, reducing the car’s ground clearance by 25 mm. New 20-inch ABT Prime wheels with glossy black finish have also been added. The aerodynamic package includes a front splitter, black accents on the bumper, and a small spoiler. The rear diffuser is now equipped with four 102-mm exhaust pipes.

The interior features custom floor mats, a backlit start button, and special sill plates. At the same time, the base sporty design remains unchanged—leather seats, Alcantara, and a digital instrument cluster.

The full ABT tuning kit costs €14,900, excluding installation. The base price of the Audi S5 Avant in Germany starts at €80,150, but the cost quickly rises with added options.

Although ABT presented the tuned version in the wagon body style, similar upgrades are also available for the S5 sedan. It’s worth noting that after such modifications, the car becomes even more dynamic while retaining the practicality of a full-fledged family vehicle.
