The Superjet should appear already in 2022, and just the development of the interior of the 30-meter aircraft has been allocated 900 million rubles (330 million hryvnias). According to a recently established tradition, the government superjet, like the Cortege project cars, is planned to be released under the aegis of the Aurus brand.
The VIP plane is based on the Sukhoi Superjet 100. The full name of the special Superjet is Aurus Business Jet. The first ABJ was shown in the summer at the MAKS-2021 exhibition in Zhukovsky, Moscow region, but at that time the aircraft did not carry the Aurus name.
As reported by Russian media, with Aurus’s participation, the style of the high-comfort cabin will be refined (let us recall that it costs approximately 10 million euros). The Aurus Business Jet configuration includes, among other things, a shower cabin, a built-in ramp, high-speed internet, and an additional fuel tank. Without refueling, such a plane can cover up to 7200 km. The regular passenger Superjet 100 has been produced at the plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur since 2011, writes Drom.
