The head of the organization “Auto Euro Power” Oleg Yaroshevich spoke about numerous similar cases. According to him, only in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, 15 fines were issued on January 15. In “Auto Euro Power”, they refer to agreements with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to which the police supposedly promised not to prosecute owners of cars with Euro plates during the lockdown.

Activists are preparing to provide protection to motorists who received fines for violating the temporary import or transit terms. There have also been previous cases where courts have canceled fines issued by the Patrol Police. They argued that the cops do not have the right to stop a car if there was no traffic violation.
