Special McLaren 750S JC96 Series for Japan
McLaren has introduced a new special series of 750S Coupe and Spider cars, which will be released in a limited batch of 61 units exclusively for the Japanese market. The 750S JC96 model is equipped with the MSO High Downforce Kit, a new set of forged wheels, unique paint options, and gold interior details inspired by McLaren’s victories in the JGTC championship.
Inspired by History
The name JC96 honors the McLaren F1 GTR with number 61, which won the JGTC championship in 1996, explaining the limited number of cars produced.
Design and Color Solutions
The original race car featured a livery with tiger stripes, combining Rocket Pink with Tarmac Grey. The new version offers similar graphic elements in four shades – Memphis Red, Titanium Silver, Ice White, and Graphite Grey, which harmoniously combine with the wide color palette of the 750S and unique options from the MSO Bespoke program.
For those who want to stand out even more, the MSO department offers a hand-painted JC96 Tribute livery, which will be limited to only four out of the 61 units.
Technical Features
All models are equipped with new 15-spoke Ultra-Lightweight Delta forged alloy wheels, similar to those used on the F1 GTR Longtail. They are combined with gold brake calipers (optionally available in custom colors) and an exhaust system with a natural titanium coating.
Additionally, the JC96 comes standard with the MSO High Downforce Kit, which is installed for the first time on the 750S Spider. It includes a more aggressive splitter, an active rear spoiler with integrated end plates, and underwing louvers that increase downforce by 10%. The engine – a mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 – remains unchanged and produces 740 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque.
Interior and Additional Options
The interior is adorned with gold pedals, matching accents on the switches, and a numbered plaque installed on the carbon monocoque. Buyers can choose between three upholstery options with full Alcantara and contrasting stitching, and the JC96 lettering on the headrests and armrests. The cabin also features Carbon Black inserts and Brushed Dark Titanium details.
Options include the MSO Interior Livery Theme Pack, which adds a tiger stripe pattern to the steering wheel marker and paddle shifters, a custom key, a McLaren Track Record Plaque in the front compartment, and more.

Price and Availability
McLaren has not disclosed the starting price of the 750S JC96, but limited series supercars always cost significant money. The only question is how large the numbers will be for these exclusive models available only on the Japanese market.
This model demonstrates how McLaren successfully combines modern technology with historical moments of its victories, creating unique cars for collectors and brand enthusiasts. The limited series not only highlights engineering mastery but also serves as a bridge between the company’s past and future.
