In China, the new Hunkt Canticie was introduced. The SUV very much resembles the Range Rover, which is not surprising since it was developed by the company Zotye, known for its copies of European cars.
The car began its life as the Zotye T900, but the project was then transferred to the company Hanlong, which produces cars under the Hunkt brand. Sales of the car will begin in the fourth quarter of 2019.
The Chinese SUV not only copies the design of the Range Rover but is also comparable in size. The Hunkt Canticie reaches 4985 mm in length, 1995 mm in width, and 1819 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2997 mm.
Inside the cabin, the digital dashboard and the huge touchscreen attract attention. However, the technical specifications are not impressive: under the hood hides a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with a power of 200 or 220 hp. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, but the drive is currently rear-wheel only.
