Under the hood of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye is a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with increased power to 797 hp and a torque of 958 Nm. With an 8-speed automatic transmission, acceleration to one hundred takes just over 3 seconds, and the quarter-mile is covered in 10.6 seconds. The top speed has increased to 326 km/h.
The engine cooling was enhanced (using the air conditioner, by the way), and the suspension and 8-speed automatic transmission were also refined. The car is slowed down by Brembo brakes with a diameter of 400 mm with six-piston calipers.
The newcomer differs from the standard Dodge Charger Hellcat with extended wheel arches and 20-inch wheels with Pirelli tires sized 305/35 ZR20.
The interior trim has more alcantara.
The new Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye will go on sale from early 2021. Remarkably, such a powerful car will not be very expensive – less than 100 thousand dollars.
