by Famous Ukrainian racer and volunteer Serhiy Malyk has set out for Bonneville again to break yet another world speed record. This time he has a special vehicle – the ultra-fast electric motorcycle The Spirit of Ukraine. 
The Ukrainian electric bike is one of the fastest in the world. It aims for a speed exceeding 345 km/h – which is currently the record in this class. During tests near Kyiv, The Spirit of Ukraine easily reached 250 km/h.
Amazingly, the Spirit of Ukraine is a fully domestic development. It was assembled by hand in just 2 months, with many parts having to be made independently. Abroad, the only thing ordered was the 300 kW (408 hp) motor wheel. 
The Spirit of Ukraine is already in the USA and awaiting favorable conditions for the race. Serhiy Malyk is participating in “Speed Week” in Bonneville for the third time, having already set world records twice before.
