Koenigsegg has unveiled the first images of the new supercar RAW. It is still just a project, but quite original and atypical for the Swedish brand.
And it’s not just about the chopped wedge-shaped design in the spirit of 70s car-chisels, although it is also unusual for Koenigsegg. The concept of the supercar itself is different — for example, it has a three-seater cabin with a central steering wheel, like in the McLaren F1.
If all Koenigsegg are incredibly powerful and can reach 400 km/h, then the RAW is different. It is equipped with a 700-horsepower three-cylinder turbo engine from Koenigsegg Gemera.
Although the power is less than that of its siblings, the Koenigsegg RAW weighs only 700 kg. And that means it will be much more interesting to drive.
For now, RAW remains a project and it is unclear whether the Swedish supercar will become serial. But if it is given the green light, it will be the most affordable Koenigsegg.
