The new Volkswagen Golf 8 has been fully unveiled ahead of its premiere. Recall that the model’s presentation will take place this evening in Germany. 
The 2020 Volkswagen Golf has grown to 4.28 meters in length and is slightly lower (1.46 meters). It uses the same MQB platform as its predecessor but has become slightly lighter. 
The design of the Volkswagen Golf 8 remains familiar, although the front part with narrow LED headlights and a large air intake looks quite fresh.
The hatchback also has a higher window line and an increased rear glass inclination angle. 
Inside the 2020 Volkswagen Golf, a new virtual instrument panel and a large touchscreen slightly turned towards the driver attract attention. The robotic gearbox selector looks very original. 
The choice will include gasoline turbo engines with a volume of 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 liters, as well as turbo diesels with a volume of 1.6 and 2.0 liters. Over time, a plug-in hybrid will also become available, and in 2020, a new VW Golf GTI with a power of 235 hp will be shown.
