by The new Skoda Octavia RS is fully unveiled. The high-performance model was supposed to be shown at the Geneva Motor Show, but since it was canceled, the presentation took place online. 
Interestingly, initially, the Skoda Octavia RS 2020 will only be available in a hybrid version. The gasoline 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four and electric motor together produce 245 hp and have a torque of 400 Nm. 
The Skoda hot hatch accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and is capable of reaching 225 km/h.
At the same time, the hybrid can travel up to 60 km in fully electric mode. 
Later, the Skoda Octavia RS 2020 lineup will expand with a 245 hp 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine and a 200 hp turbo diesel of the same capacity. The diesel version will receive all-wheel drive for an additional fee. 
Naturally, the high-performance version has a retuned suspension and larger brakes installed. You can distinguish the Skoda Octavia RS from the standard model by its larger front air intakes, body kit, and 18-inch alloy wheels, with a small spoiler installed at the back.
The interior is equipped with sports seats and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. The trim features Alcantara and carbon-look inserts.
