Live photos of Geely FY11 have surfaced online. The new coupe-crossover was created in collaboration with Volvo specialists and will go on sale in the spring.
The Geely crossover is built on the CMA platform, which is also used by Volvo XC40 and premium Chinese brand Lynk & Co vehicles. The car is 4605 mm long with a wheelbase of 2700 mm.
The appearance of Geely FY11 was developed by former Volvo designer Peter Horbury.
In profile, the coupe-crossover slightly resembles the BMW X4.
Initially, the new Geely FY11 will be equipped only with a 1.5-liter 177 horsepower Volvo turbo engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It is still unknown whether there will be all-wheel drive versions.
