by The presentation of the new Skoda Citigo-e iV took place. The first Skoda electric car in history will go on sale in the second half of the year at a price of around 23 thousand euros. 
The new Skoda Citigo-e iV is a twin brother of the Volkswagen e-up. It is equipped with an 82-horsepower engine and a 36.8 kWh battery. 
Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 12.5 s, and the top speed is limited to 130 km/h.
The range is 265 km, and a fast charge to 80% takes an hour. 
The Skoda electric car will be offered only in a five-door version. It differs from the gasoline Citigo with its body kit and a modified front end, and also features LED daytime running lights.
